Tillandsia sprengeliana is one of the rarer of the Tillandsia species. This is because it doesn’t commonly produce many offsets, sometimes only one to replace the mother. It is also propagated by seed, which is generally a long process for the plants to reach maturity. As you can see from the photos, it has an interesting shape (habit) and an incredible bloom.
