This gorgeous ''architectural'' plant has bright green leaves that twist from a bulbous base which doubles as a handy point of attachment for mounting.
When flowering, the leaves become brilliantly coloured in scarlet tones from which emerge a red flower spike bearing purple flowers.
Offsets eventually appear around the base and it becomes an amazing multi-plant specimen.
