Tillandsia - utriculata

Tillandsia utriculata has the honor of being the first Tillandsia ever to be described. This was done by Carolus Linneaeus in 1737. The plant itself can grow to be almost a meter in width and over a meter in height counting the inflorescence. This large size giving it the nickname "Giant Air Plant".

Water requirement: Low–moderate.
Maintenance: Low.

Each living plant is unique and may vary slightly in size, colour or shape depending on the season. Flowering plants are sent when available.
