Description: Tillandsia Kimberly is a hybrid between two Tillandsia species from the subgenus Diaphoranthema. (T. Usneoides X T. Recurvata.) To our knowledge, this is the only hybrid between two species of this same miniature Tillandsia subgenus. This hybrid was created by Mark Dimmitt and for one of Paul's Daughters. T. Kimberly has long thin, silver leaves which trail down to form a wispy clump. The plant's flowers are fragrant and form on the end of a long stem. Like T. Usneoides the plant grows continuously, pupping and creating a large clump.
